Macbeth

This was the Ridgefield Auditoriums debut so we wanted to create an amazing experience for the audience. hanging off the batons were for 30ft strips of muslin light from the front and back with amber and blood red. depending on the intensity of the scene the entire stage would get more covered in "blood" and subsequently be lit with more red. the cyc in the back as well as LED surrounding the audience made for a great blood effect.

This play takes place over several different time periods and includes a lot of time travel to switch between locations. The first sample is the theme of the ghost as she walks on stage turning the environment into a cavernous realm and then the "flashback sound which takes them to Klauzal Square, Hungry 1931

The second sound is a flash back to the ghostly realm where Agi the ghost of a young girl resides

The last sound is a mix of voices over and design in which the voice of the ghost can be heard onstage through a cellphone.

Willy Wonka is a children's musical based off of the famous Roald Dahl novel. As a musical the environments were constant in flux with the music and some had music built into the environment itself.

The first is the unveiling of the factory interior which has the chocolate river flowing through it. I wanted to create a "Chuckie Cheese" experience so I created a Willy Wonka factory that has a casino feel in its design.

the second sample is the Bubble gum room in which a large machine spits out gum-balls. Music was built into the way this machine operates. I believe it worked very well with the beautiful choreography of Emily Penick onstage.

The third sound is the fizzy bubble room, a combination of computed beeps and bubbles.

Last the notorious Glass Elevator which read wonderfully onstage
